Passing through the gates of hell

Much has been said about the novelist Dan Brown’s "hellish" depiction of Manila in his novel entitled "Inferno." In the fictional novel, one of the protagonists was said to have been raped in one of Manila's slums. Thin-skinned Manileños, who abhor any negative portrayal about their hometown, took this as a personal offense.     I think we should decongest Mania ...and expand development to other provinces. Pero oo, medyo totoo naman sinabi ni Dan Brown tungkol sa Manila ... it is just sad that it was expressed in an international movie which will definitely can affect the perception of people about Philippines because Manila is our capital

    Do you think there is still hope to improve Manila?

  2. I symphatized with you in your experience of crying babies and kids in a long haul flight :) ... one time, gusto kong sabayan yung mga kids at babies sa pag-iyak nila ... so they would know they were not the only one suffering :(

    1. To be fair, NAIA I has undergone major renovations lately. Still, it's way too small for the current utilization capacity.

      I use my regular passport when I'm on vacation. All my multi-year visas are there and I don't want to go through the process of re-validating the diplomatic passport each time you go home.
